How can I make the kelp fronds less salty to taste?

Some customers like the saltier the better. 
Others do not like it that salty tasting. 

Here's how to make kelp fronds not as salty: 

Soak the kelp pieces in enough water to cover, for about 5 minutes. 
Place in lightly oiled cookie sheet or non stick cookie sheet. 

Heat at 250 F for 10 to 15 minutes or until dry and crisp.
or at lower temp 120 F to 140 F for 1 to 2 hours or until  
crispy dry.
Store in food grade air tight container. Save soaking liquid for soup.

note: You can also quickly rinse it without soaking it. 
Then heat as indicated above. This will taste less salty however saltier than soaking it 5 minutes. 
The longer you soak it the less the salt.
